We Talked About Building Muscle Or Losing Fat, First
In this BossByte, I discussed a few scenarios with regards to choosing whether or not to lose weight of build muscle, first, when beginning a new fitness journey.
Surprisingly, this can be a fairly tough question to answer on your own, since it will drive all of your fitness decisions for quite some time. You'll have to make serious decisions that will drive both your nutrition and your training.
Fortunately, it's a bit easier when looking at it objectively. For the most part, the answer relies heavily on your starting point, but rather than getting into that here, I'll let you check it out for yourself in the video. Here's a few little segments from the video to show you what's discussed.
We Learned Pre-Fatigue Is Just Tiring

Pre-fatigue is a technique that's been used for ages, but research and logic dictates that it's probably not worth your time and effort. Really, that's not surprising. By fatiguing target muscles with isolation first, you risk having less strength and ability when completing compound movements, in effect reducing volume and the stimulus your recieve.
If you've used or are currently using this technique in your training, it might be time to think of something else to do instead.
Also, I began introducing small, self-administered quizzes to new articles so that you can better understand what I believe to be the most important points. Let me know if this is something that interests you!
I Talked About Steroids
In my first all-opinion piece, I discuss my thoughts on steroids. Personally, I don't have much of an issue with them, but for some reason, most keyboard warriors do. This has always baffled me and I wanted to give my $0.02 on my own platform, rather than adding to the goulash of opinions on Facebook.
Do you have a similar stance or one that differs from my own? Add to the conversation --> here!
This past week, I worked a lot on videos, such as my BossBytes. Recently, Facebook updated it's algorithm to focus more on people, rather than business. In doing so, it largely favors videos that have interactions.
Additionally, after viewing analytics, almost 85% of people that view my videos, view with sound off. In response, I've been learning how to use pro video editing software to create videos that have subtitles. So, for the most part, my time and effort has shifted from always writing to now shooting and producing videos, as it seems that most people enjoy those a bit more.
I'll continue writing articles, it's just that I need to spend other time making videos and audio as much as I can.
So, that's what I'm working on in addition to finishing up Guided Training.
Next up on the agenda is to offer Free, workout packages. This will include upwards of 50 workouts, focused on whatever goal you have. All that will be required is an email address. I do this so that I can know who and what type of person is interested in this sort of thing so that I can match the products I build to the desires of my type of customer.
I'll say this now that I have a disdain for ridiculous email marketing, with relentless, pointless emails. When you sign up, you'll only be notified of important things, and I'll never share your information.
If you'd like to be ahead of the curve, consider clicking this link --> HERE <-- to register for the site. When you do, you'll also have access to my holiday eating guide, which really is a guide for eating in situations outside of the norm, not just holidays.
