This Week Was A Little Slow & I'm Sorry
First and foremost, I wanted to apologize to a few of my faithful readers for not being able to produce as much this week. As many of you know, I'm attempting to build this business, while I also have jobs on the side to pay the bills. Because of this, I can't always get an article out on time.
It's because of some unforeseen circumstances that I was not able to finish all the articles I needed. Hopefully you understand and in the meantime, please consider reading the latest article (it's a good one) and check out my latest youtube video (below).
Thanks again for supporting Boss Strength!
I Talked About Using Evidence AND Intuition
In the health and fitness world (and really just about any other faction) most people are too concerned with being right all the time, rather than expressing free thought. So many people (myself included) are afraid to voice opinion on complex topics out of fear that keyboard warriors will shit on us.
No more I say! It's okay if you opinion differs a bit from the status quo, because really, that's what drives innovation and change.
This idea has always bothered me. It seems that those with no stake in the game are always the first to speak up with their opinion as "right," while others with something to say, just never say anything at all out of fear. That's why I did this video to give permission to those of us to afraid to speak, despite having something meaningful to say.
I want to hear your thoughts, even if they might be wrong and especially if they differ from mine. That's what makes us grow and really, life would be boring if you were just right all the time.
I've found that myself and others sit and wait around for approval of other "experts" or at least for them to say something similar to our own stance, absolving us of fear of rejection. I say NO MORE! Use evidence AND your own though to drive decisions and your own stances on just about any subject. Do so while staying humble and willing to pivot your stance based on logic, reasoning and of course, evidence.
Low Frequency Eating Is Best For Weight Loss

Most people are under the impression that more meals throughout the day will be more beneficial for weight loss, but unfortunately, it doesn't pan out that way.
This team of researchers tested two groups; 1 consuming 3 meals per day with the other consuming 14 meals per day, isocaloric, to see how the body reacts to each, in terms of markers usually associated with weight loss.
They tested things like insulin and blood glucose responses, free fatty acids being released into the blood, etc. Best part is, this was in a metabolic ward, or a gas exchange chamber that almost eliminates confounding factors that often make this data almost irrelevant.
They found that 3 meals was more advantageous for things like managing hunger and satiety. Further, there are some other issues that can't be ignored dealing with consuming 14 meals per day anyways. Overall, the data is in favor of fewer meals per day, but there are very important considerations that can't be ignored.
Consider clicking the image above to learn my thoughts one of the most controversial subjects in health and fitness.

This week, I started a new project.
Everyone that has an online business sells training programs. While I'm doing that as well, I'm doing it a bit differently. I'm in the process of building 12 week training programs that focus on specific areas of the body. Essentially, if you need to focus on building your upper body, there will be a 12 week, periodized training program, specifically geared towards building your upper body.
Additionally, you can use these programs with your current one. Or, if you desire, you can purchase the other programs (legs, arms, etc.) and combine them to build a perfect program.
Best part is that these sections will be very affordable, around $7 with the option to buy them all as a package. While everyone and their brother has a training program to sell, I think this one is really going to be powerful for you.
Lastly, I'm also working on another potential project, allowing you to join as a member for less than $10 a month to receive a month of training and the ability to work with others. It will in my mind, change how we look at online personal training.
If these things are of interest to you, please let me know. I'm doing them regardless, but it will be great to hear from others that you're interested.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you got value out the posts this week. Here's to another great, productive week!
